What is R2 Certification?

R2 certification, also known as responsible recycling certification, is a company level certification based on the R2 standard overseen by the R2 Technical Advisory Committee (TAC). This internationally recognized standard requires that companies must adhere to certain environmental and health/safety practices in order to receive the certification. The purpose of this certification is to protect human health and the environment from potential harm caused by improper handling of used electronics.
